At Bow Valley Chiropractic, we believe in the value of wellness care for you and your family and have maintained a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets. Our Calgary's downtown office participates in insurance programs, we do direct billing for some of them.

Direct Billing to Insurance, MVA, and WCB

We do Direct billing for most insurance plans at our office for Chiropractic, Massage and Acupuncture services only. We accept auto-accident- MVA, personal injury and most health insurance plans. We accept WCB patients. Since there are so many plans and coverage varies widely, please call your Insurance company to find out if your plan covers Chiropractic care and amounts, not just percentages.

MVA Claim - Motor Vehicle Accident

We accept MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) Claims, Dr. Kim can start your MVA AB-1 and AB-2 Forms, we will need your Insurance Claim information to be able to start that process! When booking your appointment mention that you will start your MVA with us! 

How MVA treatments work? 

1. You book your appointment and come in and fill out your intake, your AB-1 and AB-2 Forms with all the information about the accident and your claim #, insurance company, agent information. 
2. Then you see Dr. Kim, our Chiropractor who would assess your condition, and request for the necessary treatments your body needs after the accident and receive your first Chiropractic appointment. 
3. We will send the Forms for approval to your insurance company. Most likely you will get approved for 21 treatments, that could include but not limited to Chiropractic, Massage, Acupuncture, others, within a timeline. 
4. For the last visit, 21st; you will get a reassessment to know how your body progressed. If the Doctor noticed your body requires more treatments, we will apply for MVA AB-3 Form with your approval. 
5. If your insurance approves the new form, you will get a limit amount, $$$, to be use within the specific services your insurance approves. For this second part of treatments, we will submit to your Primary insurance coverage, and whatever they don't cover you, we would charge to your MVA claim, there is a limit amount set by the company your MVA got submitted to. 
6. The last appointment will be for an assessment AB-4 Form
